Together
A week together
One small practice from the Gospels each day, kept by friends, a family or a group in the same week, wherever each of you is.
What you get
A week together. One of you chooses a path and a first day, gives the group a name, and receives one link to share. Everyone who opens it on an iPhone with Christian Practice walks the same practices that week, each in their own day.
A page for the group. The link opens on any computer or phone as a page with each day's practice and its Scripture, and three questions to talk about when you next speak. It has a poster to print too, for a group that meets: the week's code standing in the altarpiece, as above. No account is needed to read it.
One another's days. Among friends, each of you sees the others by the name they chose, with a window for every day of the path: lit when the day was kept, plain when it was not. Everyone is told this before joining, and anyone can leave, which takes their name away at once.
Or a quiet count. The one who starts the week can make it quiet instead, for a larger group: then nobody is named, and each of you sees one line, such as “14 from Tuesday group kept today's practice”, only from three people upwards.
What it never shows
Only the days. What someone wrote, how they answered, how they felt and which level they chose never reach the group. There are no comments, no reactions and no ranking.
How to start
1. Choose a path in the app
Open Paths, choose one, and tap “Walk it together”. Give the group a name, say whether you will see one another's days, and choose the first day. Starting a week needs a subscription.
2. Share the link
Send it to your friends or your group. The page is written in the language you use in the app.
3. Walk the week
Each day has one thing to do and a short prayer. The questions on the group's page are there for when you talk.
Praying at the same moment
A week together is about the daily practice. To pray at the same moment, set a time in Pray and share that invitation: it can be joined from a link, even without the app.
A larger group?
It works the same way. Write to us if you would like help starting.
